We are ideally looking for a mature working professional or postgraduate who is clean, tidy, respectful and independent.

This is intended to be a calm and peaceful home rather than a highly social shared house, so it would particularly suit someone who enjoys their own space and wants somewhere comfortable to relax after work or study.

Sensible and occasional visits from friends are welcome, but parties, frequent social gatherings and overnight guests are not permitted, helping us maintain the privacy and comfort of both occupants.

We also ask that personal belongings are kept within your own room and communal areas remain clean, tidy and uncluttered.

🧹 Cleaning & Property Management

This is a room-only rental with shared use of the communal facilities, rather than rental of the entire property.

Your bedroom is your private rented space. The landlord retains access to communal areas when required for cleaning, maintenance and general property upkeep, with communication beforehand where appropriate.

As there are only two occupants, tenants will take turns cleaning the kitchen, lounge and bathroom approximately every two weeks. The landlord will also arrange/carry out periodic deeper cleaning and maintenance.

We are looking for someone who understands that maintaining a pleasant shared home requires cooperation — cleaning up after yourself, respecting the cleaning rotation and keeping communal areas comfortable for both occupants.
