Hi everyone! I'm moving out of my current room in a lovely student house on Green Lanes (N4) and I'm looking for someone to replace me on the contract!
The room:
-Its a double bedroom in a 5-bed house
-£733pcm w/o bills
-The contract runs until October 14th, but you will have the opportunity to renew for another year if you wish!
-Furnished - includes a bed, desk, shelving units, and a bedside table
-Nb. this is NOT a sublet - you'll be taking over myself on the tenancy agreement until October!
The house:
-We have a fairly spacious kitchen, a living space and a lovely garden where there's plenty of space to plant things if you want to!
-The house is shared with other students (we can only accept a student due to council tax exemption) - you'd be living with four other students: Shelbey (final year of Psychology), Lauren (final year Japanese), Trinity (starting a PhD in Nuclear Physics) and Tori (second year PhD in Eng Lit).
-We're all very busy in the house and tend to be out and about most of the week, but when we're at home it's a very friendly vibe and we often have chats in the kitchen / occasionally watch something in the living room together! (lots of love cooking so if you're into cooking this is the house for you!)
-No terfs or tories etc. please! The house is left wing and pro-Palestine and we want to keep it that way
The area:
-We're just off the main grand parade of Green Lanes - it's an amazing area with loads of shops, restaurants, cafes and bakeries a 5min walk away!
-The nearest tube station is Manor House (15min walk) - Harringay Green Lanes Overground is an 8min walk - Turnpike Lane is also just up the road and there are buses that take you straight to Waterloo / London Bridge / Trafalgar square!
Accessibility info:
-The house has two steps up to the front entrance, and one step down into the garden
-The room is on the first floor of the house - the staircase that takes you have twelve fairly steep steps. There is also one further step in the hallway between the room and the two bathrooms.
-Frustratingly the landlord does not accept housing benefits or universal credit, sorry about this.
Drop me a message if you're interested and I can give you more info! Thanks
