Please look at the photos. I will add a bit here but only extra stuff. There is a far-infrared heater in the room. The radiator in the bedrooms and elsewhere is smart. The boiler is new last year and is energy efficient. This cuts down on the bills.
No smoking in the house or on the (wooden) roof terrace.
Garden is just mainly grass. There is a concrete area behind that I have been using for over 15 years but I don’t own. The door into it is a fire door. I’ve never seen it opened. The Barbecue was left to collect rain and the bit that collects ash has rusted away. It needs fixing and does not currently work.
Kitchen is quite small given how big the house is. I’ve just redone the ceiling to add extra insulation and am just waiting for it to dry out before doing a final plaster coat, letting that dry and painting it. Plus I haven’t painted the skirting boards and radiator.
There is gym, but it is mostly pointless as the treadmill in it is broken. There is a bicycle but unless you are also tall I doubt you can fit on my bike. There are free weights. I open the windows to the gym even in winter and the gym is on the way to the kitchen, so don’t ask for the room if you mind open windows.
Living room currently has an Alexa but will probably be a Google Home. It was an AirBnB and I had a separate system to them. AirBnB was profitable but became too much hassle.
There is no deposit so please no fire risks like electrical bicycles indoors. I am building an outdoor shelter for bicycles as 4 bikes won’t fit in the hallway. I’ve switched to wax for cleanliness on my bicycles and all internal bicycles need to be waxed, but I can easily show anyone how to do that. If you wish to have an electric bicycle or scooter etc. in the house please let me know and we can add a deposit to cover repairs if it catches fire.
10minute walk to Finsbury Park Station (Victoria and Piccadilly lines). 2 minutes to Crouch Hill (Gospel Oak to Barking Line). 8 minutes to Haringgay(Line to Old Street and Moorgate).
Will let people view on Sunday Afternoon. Currently adding solar panels so will go back to doing that after, which creates mess.
I’m looking to rent this room in about ten days, as that is how long I’m expecting to need to complete the DIY, but it could be sooner if you don’t mind unpainted plaster drying. I will be renting the other two rooms later too, but they might not be ready for Sunday.
The bill included is wifi, but not Gas, Elec, Water and Council Tax.
