Hi! I'm Lenni, an active 37-year-old professional looking for a lodger to fill my spare double room from the beginning of July.
I work from home three days a week and am in London for work two days/one night a week. I have a busy social life so am out quite a lot (but will also sometimes indulge in an hours-long Netflix binge session...). I'm looking for someone who is non-smoking, easy-going and considerate - other than that, am flexible on age/gender/profession.
The house itself is mid-terrace on the east side of town, 15-20 minutes' walk from the Harbour Arm / town centre / Folkestone Central Station. It has a cosy shared living room, dining room (that I also use as an office), shared kitchen, shared bathroom with shower and a paved garden out the back that's a lovely suntrap in summer. There's room for parking on the street outside.
The room is a double and currently has a double bed, desk and a wardrobe pole for hanging clothes, but I'm happy to source eg a chest of drawers/chair if required. If you also need a working from home space, we can discuss moving the desk into the living room or similar.
The rent is £560 a month including all bills (inc. WiFi) to be paid on the first of the month, and I'll require a month's deposit in advance. If of interest, I'm open to splitting the cost of a cleaner every other week in addition.
I'll consider shorter-term tenants but a minimum of three months is preferred.
Right, think that's it. I look forward to hearing from you!
