Hey, I've recently moved into my own place and have a spare room that I'm looking to rent out from May 2026.
--AREA--
This is a new-build house within the new Taylor Wimpey development in Newton Farm, Cambuslang.
Newton (Lanark) train station is less than a 5 minute walk with trains direct to Glasgow Central that take 15 mins. There are also bus links, so access to the city centre is very easy.
--PROPERTY/ROOM--
The room itself comes with a double bed, storage boxes, 2 bedside units and chest of drawers. (Happy to look at wardrobe options if extra storage is needed).
There is shared access to the ground WC & first floor bathroom, living room (Smart TV with access to Youtube Premium/Netflix/Prime Video/PS4), kitchen and garden. Garden is a good size and south-facing so gets the sun all day which is a bonus in summer!
There is a spare car parking space if you need it in front of the house.
Rent is £550pcm with all bills included.
Sorry - strictly no couples, no pets & no smokers.

Young professional working in commercial property & facilities management, and ideally looking for someone of a similar age (though not essential) and ideally with a similar work schedule (Mon-Fri 9-5). My job can be pretty intense so absolutely not looking for any midweek party-goers.
Throughout the week I tend to chill at home, go running/gym etc. Weekends I’m usually out and about in town, walking, hiking, catching up with friends. I’m pretty chill and very easy to get on with. Would also be up for doing stuff together at home / out and about.
I know most ads say this but genuinely someone clean, tidy & respectful is a must as I like to keep the house in good nick.
