This wonderful, quiet, quirky Govanhill flat is in an iconic building on Vikky road. So handy for shops (including Lidl) public transport, Queens Park, pubs, cafes and the rest of Govanhill delights. Great for buses and trains into town. At the right end of Govanhill to get into town fast too! Although we are on the main road, the design and architecture means it is always quiet.

The flat has loads of windows., the bedroom windows are over quiet courtyard, not over Vikky Road.

The bedroom for rent has a king size bed. The room has two cupboard/ wardrobes or storage. It has a desk and chair. The carpet is worse for wear, and would benefit from a rug!

The living room is comfy and cosy and has a big TV with a google casting device. I personally don't watch reality TV unless it's queer and I don't get sci fi but watch all the rest of TV film and docs.

The flat is in a lovely safe gated complex, with trees, flowers and birds. Nice community, lovely neighbours. I love it here!

There's a Community Garden right next door.

The cat comes with a resident grumpy cat. She's very pretty but not very friendly. She's very attached to me, and mainly ignores housemates. She's not really a petting cat. I wish she was more sociable!

There is a car park. Very safe place to park car or van or whatever.

I am an older queer cis woman from Liverpool, a filmmaker and traveller mainly retired. I am laid back and happy person, straightforward and good fun and no airs and graces . I enjoy living with people.

I work from home so am around a lot, and my office is attached to living room.

The flat is untidy sometimes washing up and ♻️ recycling catches up. There's more to life than hoovering. Though I do have a Shark vacuum cleaner! But its a comfortable home. Home is important.

There is a new boiler, a decent fridge, a slow cooker, a dualit toaster, a microwave, an ninja air fryer, a shark vacuum cleaner, a George foreman and a good juicer. Plates and pans and lots of nice kitchen gadgets. Decent amount of kitchen surfaces and cupboards.

Rent includes: electric and gas, internet, netflix, car parking, BBC licence, council tax, subscription toilet paper.

Access: The flat is on the 2nd floor with no lift.

I use incense, and smoke 🎄 but keep the flat sweet smelling. Some Cat fur due to long haired cat, but you can keep her out of your bedroom easily.
