Hi everyone.

Flatmate Wanted – Dalmarnock, Glasgow 🏡

Long-term flatmate wanted from around 1st October – Dalmarnock, Glasgow

I’m looking for a long-term flatmate to join my tenancy, as my current flatmate is leaving. Because I’m looking for someone who wants to settle in for the long term, I won’t be considering students for this room.

The new tenant will need to apply through the letting agency with me, and the application will be subject to the agency’s usual vetting and approval process.

🏠 About the flat

The flat is currently unfurnished, but I’m happy for us to sort out furniture together as we settle in, so we can make the space comfortable and feel like home for both of us.

The flat also has:

- Private access
- Private parking
- Gas central heating and electric heating
- Weekly maintenance
- Great transport links, with both bus and train routes into Glasgow city centre and further out
- Glasgow Green right beside the flat, as well as a pond and lovely walking routes
- A lovely café directly across the road
- A Tesco around a 5-minute drive away
- The flat is on the 3rd floor with no lift access

You would get the larger bedroom, along with the larger bathroom. The bathroom isn't an ensuite, but would be your main bathroom.

💷 Rent & bills

The deposit is £1,004 in total, split between the two of us, so £502 each.

The new flatmate would also need to pay their share of the first month's rent when the new tenancy starts.

Household bills are not included in the rent and will be split equally between us. This includes utilities and Council Tax (Band C).

🌈 About me / what I'm looking for

I’m a trans woman, and I’m happy to share the flat with anyone who is respectful, open-minded and trans-friendly. Being accepting and respectful of LGBTQ+ people is important to me, but I’m happy to consider anyone regardless of gender, sexuality or background.

I’m specifically looking for someone who wants a long-term home, rather than somewhere temporary. I’d like us both to be able to settle in, make the flat our own and build a comfortable living situation together.

I’ll be working night shifts, and I also stay at my boyfriend’s place most of the time, so I won’t actually be home a huge amount. That said, I’d still love to get to know my new flatmate and hopefully have a friendly, comfortable relationship with them once they move in.

The tenancy is most likely to start on 1st October.

I've included emails from the agency as to what they expect through the application process.
If you're interested or would like to know more, feel free to message me with a little bit about yourself, and we can have a chat and arrange a viewing/get to know each other before applying. 😊
