Hello,
I am a live-in landlord looking for a lodger for my flat in the Riverside development in Dalmarnock. I’m a young professional and a recent first-time homeowner, and I’ve put a lot of effort into making this flat a comfortable and cosy home. Because of that, I’m looking for someone who is respectful, tidy, and easy to get along with. I’m in no rush to fill the room and would rather take the time to find the right fit.
The flat is a two-bedroom property with an open-plan living room and kitchen, plus a balcony. The balcony and all the windows face the communal garden, so it’s nice and peaceful. My bedroom has an en-suite, though I also tend to use the main bathroom as it’s larger and has a bath, so that would be shared.
The room available will have a double bed and a built-in wardrobe. There’s also the option of adding a desk and/or chest of drawers depending on what works best for you, so there’s some flexibility there.
In terms of bills, broadband, factor fees, and council tax (Band B) are included in the rent. Energy bills are not included and would be split equally between us. If any of the included costs increase during the tenancy, I reserve the right to adjust the rent once per year to reflect 50% of that increase. I’m very transparent about costs, so feel free to ask if you’d like more details.
If you’re a young professional around my age — or gay — that’s a bonus!
Please feel free to message me if you have any questions. I’d be happy to chat.
