This flatshare is in a great location right next to Regent's Canal and Broadway Market (3-minute walk), which hosts a fantastic street market on weekends and is full of independent bookshops, coffee shops, and restaurants. You are a 5-minute walk from London Fields and a 15-minute walk from Victoria Park.
The available space is a double bedroom with plenty of room for a desk, chest of drawers, and one or two wardrobes. Transport link: you are close to Haggerston/Windrush and Cambridge Heath/Weaver Overground stations, with the Bethnal Green Central Line station a 17-minute walk away. For groceries, there is a Sainsbury's nearby and a larger Lidl within 15 minutes.
Common spaces include a living room + dining room, big kitchen with appliances, a corridor, toilet and shower in separated spaces for convenience, and a cute balcony with grill and chairs to enjoy in the warmer months.
ABOUT US
You’d be living with Daniel and Chris. We both are tidy and appreciate an organized common space. We’re also keen to share and build a nice vibe: sharing meals occasionally, watching TV, while helping each other in what’s within our possibilities. It's a fun flatshare with a very cozy feeling. We're both queer men.
Daniel manages the flat and bills directly and maintains a good relationship with the landlord. He has lived here for two years. Works as a manager for a magazine and is always on with cultural agenda and the local writing scene. Chris moved earlier this year, and works as a Yoga instructor
We're open to share with a flatmate of any gender/sexuality
Rent + bills (pcm): Rent £1050 per month + Around £110 for bills. Bills include Council tax, Gas, Electricity, Water, and Broadband. Some will change in April, but we’re expecting to be around the same bracket, maybe £10 more. We pay a cleaner every other week to keep the place spot on.
Tenancy: This is a flatshare managed by the current tenant with a direct contract between you and the landlord for your room. There are no agencies involved.
The landlord requires three months of payslips/work payments, three months of bank statements, a previous landlord reference, and a sharecode/Right to Rent if you are not from the UK.
Deposit: a month’s rent
Access info: The flat features a living room, dining area, balcony, and kitchen. For convenience in a shared environment, the toilet and shower are separated. (Note: Specific information regarding stairs, lifts, or step-free access is not provided in the sources).
