My current flatmate is moving out to live with her partner, so I’m looking for someone to fill in her room.

The room and flat 🏡:
Small double including furniture. Just outside the bedroom is a storage space that can be used as a closet just for you (current flatmate has stackable drawers, but can also include a clothing rack instead). The main bathroom is huge and would also be yours, as I have a small en-suite.

Flat:
2bed 2bath with a large balcony that’s lovely in the summer. Open plan kitchen. Im also planning to invest in a few replacement bits to the original furniture in the living room to make the flat cosier. There’s also a second storage room which is shared and is used to store luggage and other household bits. Building includes an elevator & bike storage.

Excellent location near Hoxton overground and Old Street Station. Lots of shops around. Curzon cinema across the road and shoreditch park 5mns away. You can walk to the city.

Who I’m looking for:
- Someone that really values a very clean and tidy household (think no shoes inside) and participates in keeping it that way. This is a must.

- Someone Looking for a calm place. I work in a demanding job so I try to use my mornings and value quiet evenings. I’m a light sleeper so someone considerate of this would be great.

- Someone that works most days from the office (3 or more). The room is small and likely won’t fit a desk. We tried having a work setup in the living room but it’s quite disruptive when one wants to use the space to relax and also takes up space. However, for the day or two week can also have a smaller desk in the living room to fit nicely :).

Rent and Bills:
Rent is 1230. Bills come around to 160 pp per month (82 council tax, 20 water, 15 fiber wifi, around 45 for gas & electricity).
Contract is up for renewal in September, so rent might go up, which we would split equally to keep the same difference (often a small increase) .
