Fully furnished room with fitted wardrobes in two-bed, two-bath, first-floor flat. Shared use of open plan kitchen/ living area and balcony. The main bathroom will be effectively for your private use, shared only on occasion with guests. Both lift and stair access to the flat.
The location is super! It's a very sought after location, as it’s just a quick walk to Glasgow University main campus (19min walk through Kelvingrove Park to Gilbert Scott Building). It is surrounded by lots of attractions, including music venues, the Kelvingrove museum, and Argyle Street. Despite being in a prime location, the street is very quiet. The closest supermarkets are Lidl and Morrisons (16min walk), but there is also a small Sainsbury's just up the road.
The flat is equipped with:
Gas stove
Dishwasher
Washer/dryer
Microwave
Iron
Bathtub
Television
Kitchen utensils
Plenty of storage, including a pantry
Bills are included in rent, but please be sensible with energy use!
If needed, parking permits are also available- there are plenty of spaces, due to the road being quiet.
!!!PLEASE NOTE- The pictures have not been retaken since I have moved in, but I plan to update these as soon as I am back in Glasgow. Since moving in, just to freshen things up, I re-plastered and re-painted the bedroom walls/ skirting boards (all white), and furnished the room with a small double bed, a desk, and a small drawer unit, and I am planning on purchasing a full-length mirror for the room. The bathroom is huge, but I am also planning on adding more storage units just to keep things nice and tidy!
I am looking for a clean and conscientious female flatmate, who is happy to share chores, and is either a student, or is willing to take on the responsibility of paying the council tax bill (band E), as I am currently exempt. No smoking inside the flat please!
I am about to go into my second of five years at uni, and have a fairly varied schedule. I have no issues with guests, as long as everyone is respectful of our space, and also of our neighbours! You can, of course, expect the same from myself and my guests.
