Hiya, I'm looking for a flatmate to take over the spacious room in a cozy flat, starting the tenancy from 1st May, 2026.
Most of the stuff you see in the pictures belong to my flatmate. Will also confirm about viewing later.
The Room/Flat itself:
- Comes with a double bed, a chest of drawers (white), and walk-in wardrobe. The shelves, table and chair you see in the pictures belong to my flatmate. You will have a lot of space.
- High ceilings, lots of natural light
- Central location: walkable distance both to the West End, Uni & City Centre
- Transport: Walkable distance to both train station and subway (7 mins to Charing Cross and about 15 mins walk to St George’s Cross)
- Supermarket: Lidl 10 mins walk, Tesco express less than 5 mins
- Shared Kitchen & Bathroom/Toilet
Cost:
- Room Rent: £560 pcm
- Council Tax band: D
- Deposit: £500 /person
- Gas & Electricity: £ 45 ~ 75 /person
(It fluctuates as the winter bill is higher due to heating. It has not gone up to £75 last few months as we're really mindful of our energy use. It's currently £45)
- Wifi: around £ 15 /person
(TBC, the contract's under my flatmate's name, so ideally you and I will find one similar to what we're currently paying, or if you have an existing contract you wanna bring over, we could talk about it)
Total: ~ roughly £700+
A little about you:
- Ideally professional, or if you're a Master/PhD student who's willing to share the council tax on top of other bills
- Pay bills on time
- Non-smoker
- Looking for long term (12 months+)
- Mindful and responsible for the shared communal space
- Values a chill, respectful, friendly vibe
A little about me:
An absolute NO for me is smoking.
I’m pretty introverted. I’m equally up for having fun now and then, getting close to nature or hanging out together. So travelling, hiking, and reading are all my thing. Down for movie night too.
I am mindful and prefer to respect one another’s need for space and personal time. I really value a chill place that I can relax after a day's work, so this is absolutely no party flat.
I'd describe myself as a tidy and responsible person, and I believe communication is key. This is a shared flat, so the house chores of the communal area is shared between us.
I currently work in a hybrid mode so there are some days I wfh.
If this sounds like a place you’re looking for, drop me a message with a bit about yourself. Just pop a message if you’ve got any questions. We could arrange viewing to see if we're good match. Thanks.
