Hi, I'm Dan. I have a small double room to rent. I live in Ebley, on a very nice quiet estate between the river and the canal. Walk to town along the canal in 30. Regular buses, bus stop 5 minute walk. I have a 5 year old boy who stays twice a week but only once during the week when the room is available. I have 2 teenage daughters who visit infrequently and rarely stay. As of September, one of them will live here 2 nights a week for college in Stroud, she’s gay. The house is lovely and most of it has been recently re-decorated. Room will have single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk and TV. Bathroom is next to room and 90% private to the tenant. Once a week my son will use it for a bath and as of September 2 mornings a week by my daughter. I am diagnosed OCD so tenant will need to be respectful of this, clean and tidy and not too loud please! Use of garden, parking freely available. All bills included other than washing machine and dryer. I will work out a cycle charge for these. I have defined it this way as I use them once a week, some people I know use them every other day and the dryer is expensive. I’d rather arrange it this way than say you can only use it once a week! I’ve never rented a room before but will investigate contracts etc which I will require. In short, it’s a lovely quiet home that would suit someone who is also relatively quiet, respectful, friendly and sociable. Thank you, Dan (Oh yes, forgot to say, we have a small guinea pig who lives in the sitting room, Effie. She's old and I think won't be with us much longer)
