Hi there,
I have a 3 bedroom flat in Brimscombe that, although not a looker from the outside, is wall-to-wall windows and full of natural light from the inside. 2 storey. One big front bedroom to let, south facing- again wall-to-wall windows.
Quiet flat with own garden that someone is welcome to plant in or enjoy. I plan to work on it this summer.
I have to work/study away for weeks/months at a time so it will often feel like your own place.
It will also be my home and my base so I'm looking for someone who is friendly and chilled, sociable but also likes a calm environment. Someone who is happy living with someone else but is also happy and at ease living on their own for periods of time.
I like yoga, meditation, dance and am doing a PhD in environmental philosophy.
I love animals so pets definitely considered. The flat has it's own front door (which can help for four legged friends) but is a 2 minute walk to the garden i. e not attached to the flat (just to bear in mind).
3 min walk from a bus stop with regular buses into Stroud. A cycle/canal path into Stroud is also just opposite the flat and easily accessible.
Charlea community gardens are right at the back with plans in progress for a community orchard and wildflower meadow. Lots of woodland walks right out of the front door and overlooking Golden Valley.
Rent for the big room is £750 with bills included. It can be more furnished or I can take some things out if you have your own things.
If you're interested (or want more info) please get in touch.
Thank you! 🌺
Lisa
