Hi!
I'm Sam (28) and I'm currently renting a 2-bed flat in Deptford with a friend, unfortunately he is having to move away, and so I'm looking for someone friendly, easygoing and outgoing to take his place. I really love meeting new people of all kinds so I'm looking for someone I can hopefully be friends and socialise with as well as a roommate. Staying respectful of your time and space when needed of course. LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent friendly always (being both myself), if there's any way I can be accommodating just let me know!
About me:
I love anything creative but particularly music, both listening and (being bad at) making, and film. Also like to spend downtime gaming, and just generally having a chill one either chatting, sharing drinks or just existing. Equally happy going out on occasion and exploring london and its pubs, culture, live music and raves. My first love is physics, so workwise my main focus at the moment is working toward a PhD, which means some home working and some out of home work. Socially/politically I'm pretty leftie, so its pretty important to me to live with someone who shares a worldview thats based on empathy and humanity. I like to think I'm pretty easygoing, so otherwise, I'm fine with a lot. Occasional social smoker, so I'm fine with smokers as well
About the flat:
Great location, 5 mins walk from deptford high street and new cross, 5 mins from St Johns station, and a 10-15 minute walk from lewisham station. The room will be furnished with a bed (though if you prefer unfurnished I can ask my flatmate to take it with him) and there is a built in cupboard, and the rest of the flat is already furnished completely by me, though of course you're welcome to come make it into your own space too. You would have your own bathroom right next to your room as there are two in the flat.
Bills/WiFi:
High speed WiFi, and bills are already sorted and comes to around £80 a month each give or take. Council tax is band C.
Admin stuff:
Ideally looking for a professional due to the rental costs but dont mind sharing with students at all if you can provide a guarantor. I'm personally happy with (and love) pets and am currently waiting on an answer from the landlord about if they are ok with them. Also, there is absolutely some flexibility on the move in date so don't hesitate to ask.
If you're interested and think we'd get on give me a shout and we can arrange to meet, show you the flat, and see what happens. Happy to answer any questions you may have.
