I'd like a housemate to stay with in my character filled house in a private road in Gorebridge.

The large double room is 4.6m by 2.7m on the top floor of the house. It is newly rebuilt with insulation to keep it warm and decorated in a woodland theme to match the house surroundings. There is a working wood burning fire to keep you even warmer (the primary heating is gas central heating). There is a wardrobe closet at 90cmx90cm.

I'd also welcome a couple or a child at an extra £50 a month for a second person.

The office room is next to the bedroom and it is 3m by 2.7m providing a place to study or work. The house has newly installed direct fibre internet.

Downstairs we share a living room with dining area, a kitchen and a bathroom. The living room has a natural stone aesthetic and also comes with a wood burning fire. There's a projector for watching telly, a couple of sofas and a dining table for meals.

The bathroom has a powerful shower and bath plus sink and toilet.

The kitchen has a large fridge/freezer, new washing machine, dishwasher and plenty cupboard space.

The house is fully detached and feels like you are in your own private forest with trees, a river and a culvert. It's on a private road with no traffic. But the train station is a 2 min walk away, accessible through the back woodland directly into Edinburgh (less than 30 mins to Princes Street) and the bus stop at the end of the road runs all day and night long into Edinburgh (Number 29 bus route and some others).

The garden has four terraces for sunning yourself or barbecues and a large garage roof can make pleasant outside eating when warm.
