We are 3 young professionals looking for a friendly & tidy housemate to join our 4-person houseshare in Kensal Green.

We are situated in a well-connected part of Zone 2 in NW around 2 minute walk from Kensal Green station, Bakerloo/Lioness line and about a 8 minute walk to Kensal Rise station on the Mildmay line. Super easy to get anywhere around London. We're on quite a quiet residential street.

There’s lots of cute cafes/restaurants & pubs nearby. We’re about a 20min walk to Portobello Rd in Notting Hill and Queens Park.

ABOUT THE ROOM:

£580 PCM, includes council tax, water and TV license!
The bills on top of this are electricity, gas and WiFi which are approximately £70 per month, with it being higher in winter due to heating.

We know this is incredibly cheap rent for London, there is no catch, and you are welcome to come see it for yourself. Our landlord Bill is retired, and hasn’t put up the rent significantly in a long time.

The bright, furnished double bedroom is located upstairs on the first floor. It features a sash window with lovely morning sunlight, a bed, and generous built-in storage. There is space for the bed to fit along the window wall should you want to rearrange it. You’ll be sharing the upstairs bathroom with Hannah, Jenny and Bruce. The bathrooms are the orignal bathrooms Bill put in the house when him and his family lived in the property - Peach!

The house includes a small shared kitchen, dining room and living room.
We also have a small garden which is absolutely perfect for the warmer months!! 🌞 Garden has a clothes line to hang washing. The Garden is east facing as is the room so they get the morning/ early afternoon sunshine.

We have a weekly cleaning rota for shared spaces, if you want to get a cleaner in on your week thats fine.

ABOUT US:

You will be living with

- 🇳🇿 Hannah, 27, Software Engineer. Enjoys gym/pilates, playing guitar, exploring London, video games, board games, gigs and pub nights 🍻 - Lived in the house for 2 years, works from home 3 days and in the office 2 days during the week.

- 🇬🇧 Jenny, 35, Architect Designer. Enjoys design, arts, crafts, swing dancing, hiking, cooking, films. 🐈‍⬛ - Lived in the house for 2 years, works at an office full time during the week.

- 🇵🇹 Marianna, 25, Media Runner. Enjoys films, documenteries, sunny weather and delicious Portuguese food. Joined the house 2 months ago. :) Works weekly alternating early and late shifts at the studio.

- 🐈‍⬛ Bruce, Jenny’s female cat. Raised on a narrowboat she's now a very lazy housecat. Enjoys the garden, smooches and treats. - Lived in the house for 2 years

We all live busy lives, but we hope to be able to have the odd catch up, movie night or board games night together. We want this house to feel like a home where we can all come to relax and enjoy our space. ☺️

Additionally, the landlord Bill, is super kind, very responsive to any maintenance issues, and drops us off chocolates from time to time. 🍫 He lives closeby in Ladbroke Grove so can pop round quickly if any issues do come up.

ABOUT YOU:

We would ideally like someone similar in age to us, who mainly works in an office or not from home full-time. We are looking for someone that values a clean and calm home, who is easy to get along with, and enjoys their personal time too.
No couples, smokers or pets, unless approved by Bruce the cat.

You'll be replacing Ben, 28, photographer. Who wasn't a cat person untill Bruce joined the house and is now converted. Enjoys music, gigs & raves, football. Moving for a much larger room as he works from home and closer to friends. Lived in the house 3 years.
