Hello,
I'm BK and currently live in the a beautiful flat in Deptford that I like to call home.
Due to planning restrictions from the council, my flat is loosing it's additional HMO license in place of a selective license and therefore my current flatmates will be moving out at the end of June. However, I am too tied to my flat and would like to remain! I am looking for another professional to join the lease with me and to share in maintaining a communal home environment.
The room:
The largest room in the flat with a private balcony and big enough for 4-6 person table and chairs. The room comes furnished with a double bed, dresser and night stand, plus a built in closet with additional shelf storage above the rail.
The flat:
There is a shower adjacent to your room but there is also a bath down the hall if you prefer. Open planned kitchen and living room with plenty of storage space in both. I am keeping all of the furniture so everything you see in the image (sans some of the plants) will remain in the flat. There is also a shared balcony accessible from the living room. We also have a dishwasher and a brand new washing machine.
The area:
We are actually on the cusp of Deptford and Greenwich and super accessible to Central and East London. It takes me 17 mins to get to London Bridge, 25 mins to cycle to Farringdon and around 35 mins to get to Shoreditch. The DLR, Southeastern, Windrush line and buses are all close by along with Lime and Forest bikes. There is street parking and paid parking spaces within the building premises. I forgot to mention, we also have the best neighbours ever!
A little about me:
I work for a magazine and am a producer in film and fashion. When I have time, I love cooking for friends and hosting a film nights. I used to go out loads but prefer nights in these days, however I'm not opposed to cheeky late night out followed by an afters (maybe 2-3 times a year lol).
About you:
You are not racist, homophobic nor fascist. Will fit in great if you're open minded. You're also clean in communal areas and respect personal space/property. You don't have to be super social but would be nice to hang out once in a while (let me cook for you!!). Sadly due to the strictness of the referencing process, I am looking for a working professional/creative that makes minimum £40k/year to join me on the lease.
Utilities = around £100/month each including 1x deep clean per month
Council Tax:
Band D - around £70 each per month
Move in: 1 June 2026
Minimum 12 months
