Hello!
Sadly, one of our flatmates is moving out at the end of our contract, so we’re looking for someone lovely to join our 3-bedroom flat by the river.
The flat is located in central/maritime Greenwich, less than a 2-minute walk to the pier and about a 10-minute walk to Greenwich Park. It’s just off Greenwich Town Centre, so there’s plenty to do in the area. The property is Council Tax Band B.
The available room is £680 pcm + bills (around £100 pcm at the moment).
Move-in date: April 7th (although this is flexible if you’d like to move in a bit earlier)
The room is partially furnished with a double bed and wardrobe and is very spacious (the photos don’t quite do it justice). It also has a stunning view of the water and gets lovely light throughout the day. The flat itself has a cosy shared living room with a river view and a small space with a table for dinner.
Local transportation:
Cutty Sark (DLR; Zone 2+3) is super close, just a 2-minute walk away.
Greenwich Station (DLR and National Rail; Zone 2+3) and Island Gardens (DLR) are a 10-minute walk.
There are also bus routes towards central and further into southeast that are very accessible from the flat.
Accessibility:
The flat is on the third floor with two lifts in the building. There’s one small step down into the main corridor when entering the flat.
The flat is owned by private landlords who live outside London. They’re super nice and laid-back but do require reference checks (employer and previous landlord). If you’re not in full-time, permanent employment, a guarantor will be needed.
About you/us:
You’d be sharing with two girls (Caroline and Holly), both in their late twenties/early thirties. We’re super friendly and happy to chat when in the kitchen, but we all have our own lives, so it’s perfect for someone who wants a chill, peaceful household. We’d prefer someone who doesn’t work fully remotely. Sorry, we’re also unable to accept couples or pets.
“I’m Caroline (She/Her), originally from Switzerland but have been living in London for a few years now. I work in the legal industry, which involves slightly longer hours at points, however I tend to work from the office at least 4 days a week. I love being outdoors and am generally quite an active, social and outgoing person. I’m a big skier (probably part of my DNA), enjoy my tennis whenever I can as well as going to the pub with friends.”
"Hi, I'm Holly (She/Her), I grew up in Yorkshire and have been living in London for 8 lovely years. I am a Studio Manager for a design agency and work full-time in the Studio, which means I tend to just be in the flat in the evenings/weekends when I don't have anything else going on. I love a good charity shop, having a potter, going for a coffee or the pub with friends and anything art-related.”
If you’re interested, drop us a message telling us a bit about yourself, your preferred move-in date, and any questions you might have. We’ll be arranging viewings over the next few weeks so you can meet us (Holly and Caroline) and see the flat.
Looking forward to meeting you!
Thanks,
Holly & Caroline
