Middle-aged couple whose children have grown and moved out, seeks young professional as a lodger for a pleasant ensuite double bedroom. The room has a garden view and is not overlooked. There is plenty of storage space and a desk can be provided if required. Our garden backs onto the Basingstoke canal, great for running along the tow path or grabbing one of our kayaks for a paddle. 8 mins drive from a leisure centre with gym and swimming pool, 10 mins walk from pub with good food, 3 mins walk from bus-stop to Fleet station (main line to London). 2 miles from the station. We are near the staff transport route for the Four Seasons hotel.
Any nationality welcome, must be a professional with references, non-smoker, no couples. Bills included but no meals, shared use kitchen and washing machine/utility. Use of garden, room for a bike in the garage and a car on the drive. No trade vans please. It may be possible to accommodate a pet, we would need to discuss each situation individually.
