A warm and friendly older lady with poor short-term memory and reduced mobility is seeking a Sharer for her home to offer a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

She would really value the friendly reassurance and company of having someone around her home in the evenings and overnight, sharing some meals and conversation. She would also like some general practical help around her home including picking up shopping, cooking four or five simple meals each week, light cleaning and tidying, hanging up laundry, carrying heavier items, simple tech, and ad hoc other practical help and errands as may be needed.

The accommodation on offer is a single room with small shower room, use of another bathroom, and shared use of the kitchen, sitting room and garden.

The property is in a lovely location close to the green spaces of Ravenscourt Park with lots of bus routes, and close to various stations including Ravenscourt Park (8 mins walk – circle/district line), Goldhawk Road Station (10 mins) and Hammersmith (15 mins).

The lady has a keen interest in history, and loves looking things up (with help) on Wikipedia. She reads The Times newspaper, enjoys the crossword, watching the news on TV, listening to classical music, company and conversation.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a mature, friendly, cheerful, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the lady’s interests. Fluent spoken English essential for communication.
