A bright, furnished double room is available in our Victorian family home in Hassocks. The lodger accommodation is in a separate part of the house, with its own entrance, private bathroom and living room with kitchenette.

We’re a friendly family living in the main part of the house. It’s a quiet home, so we’re looking for a female professional in full-time work who values a peaceful, independent lifestyle and enjoys being close to the countryside. We’re hoping to find someone respectful and easygoing who’d like to stay for at least six months.

Hassocks station is about a five-minute walk away, with Brighton around nine minutes by train. The village has cafés, pubs and shops, and the South Downs are close by for walking, running or cycling.

We also have two friendly cats, who mostly stay in our part of the house.
