We have a double bedroom available in a convenient location in Central Hendon (the one on the video is now taken, see the available one on the pics). The flat is equipped with a spacious kitchen, two bathrooms and a small living room.
We want to keep our house a home, not just a place to sleep, so we're looking for someone who wants to stay and we won't accept short term offers.
There is parking available in the street and a private parking space in front of the house, shared with the neighbours who live below us (same main entrance, two private front doors) very rarely occupied.
The prices:
Our flatmate Claire is leaving us to return to France, and you will be taking over her share of the rent. We are all liable for the full house, so the landlord will require you to have a UK guarantor (you can find one online).
There is a deposit of £664.
The rent is £610 and the monthly bills per person are roughly £100:
Internet: £7 (M250 Fibre Broadband)
Water: £20
Elec & gas: £20
Council tax: £50
The people:
You will be sharing the flat with three easygoing and clean housemates between 27 and 30. We're all busy doing our own thing but we also like to catch up whenever we're free, and we're open to making plans together as long as we have shared interests.
The specs:
8 mins walk to Hendon Station (Thameslink line, zone 3/4).
12 mins walk to Hendon Central Station (Northern Line, zone 3/4).
Buses 83, 183, SL10, 113, N5 all within 5-12 mins walk.
Plenty of convenient shops including Tesco Express and Sainsbury's Local within 8 mins walk.
20 mins walk to Brent Cross Shopping Centre and a big Sainsbury’s.
We value clear communication, reading the room, and the willingness to compromise so as to satisfy most of everyone's needs.
To avoid wasting anyone's time, please don't apply if you:
• Don't intend to stay for at least a year.
• Are usually on the louder side, or often invite loud people (we don't mind friends coming over from time to time but we mind our comfort).
• Find it hard to put anyone's needs and wants before your own (compromising means being considerate of others' needs).
• Don't intend to help with household tasks like restocking and cleaning (it's not much but we'll be using a rota so that it's fair for everyone).
To be considered, please tell us a bit about yourself:
• Why you're moving out.
• What you do for a living.
• How you spend your typical day off.
• Your personal definition of respect (not AI written or found on Google).
Looking forward to getting to know you!
