We’re Daniel (38) and Jessica (33), and for part of the week we also have Rollo (2). He’s a Golden Retriever. The most beautiful Golden Retriever you’ll ever meet. You know how it’s on trend to ask for ‘Golden Retriever Energy’ on your Hinge Prompts these days, well here it is! PLUS he won’t break your heart a few weeks later!
Us two Humans though, I wouldn’t say we’re Golden Retriever Energy… But we are lovely. We both work in Spiritual Wellbeing, though not together. We’ve only known each other a few months but you’d be forgiven for thinking that we’ve been Friends for much longer. I’m Daniel, the one writing this. I’m from London originally and bought this house two and a half years ago which does technically make me the (mega-cringe) ‘Live in Landlord’, but it’s most definitely EVERYONE’s Home. I’m not tight with the heating or funny about guests or any of that silly stuff you’ve heard stories about. I’m always as generous as possible with all aspects of living together, for example you never need to buy cleaning products if you live here, there’s free coffee with a Sage Bambino Plus & Grinder Pro combo (IYKYK), there’s free eggs for all, loads of things like that. You know the Beatles’ Abbey Road Album B-Side ‘Mean Mr. Mustard’? I’m the OPPOSITE of him. They just never wrote a song about me.
We’re nice people. We’re clean, we’re tidy, and ultimately we’re Humanitarians so we care about everyone and the betterment of Humanity as whole, and we’d like to have someone move in that is the same. It’s the sort of vibe where we’re all Friends, and if we want to hang out together that’s great but we can also just be alone and no one gets offended. In the last two years I’ve realized that’s very important. Yes I’m a bit of a Hippie but not one of those lazy Hippies that thinks that things just happen without putting in any work. I worked and lived in a Motorhome in London for three years eating tins of tuna while I was saving to buy this house.
I’m only there half the week as I still work in London, so for half the week it would just be the two of you. We would prefer another Girl to move in as it’s always been that way so far with who has lived here previously and the dynamic has worked well. Without Prejudice!

Double Bedroom, Nectar Mattress, Muji Drawers, if anyone wants any other furniture they can just ask me and I'll get it, two bathrooms, the one downstairs would be basically yours as we’re both upstairs and don’t really use it, off street parking on the driveway there’s enough space for six cars so if you have two cars you’re massively in luck, log burner, a spare room we use to hang drying clothes so there’s not clothes horses all over the place, huge back garden. I’m sure there’s other PROS that I’ve forgotten about.
Rent is all inclusive all year round. No minimum contract. Deposit half a months rent. I am well aware that we’re in Late-Stage Capitalism and it’s destroying the housing market for rentals and purchases, so I’m doing everything I can to be as fair and decent as possible because I know how sucky it is.
