Clean, furnished room in a beautifully decorated spacious house in a quiet residential road. This house would suite a responsible tidy person who would prefer the benefits of a live-in owner. I would prefer someone looking for short-term, (no minimum but with a possibility to extend), so it could be ideal for someone doing an internship, language course, moving to London for the first time or just visiting.
The house itself is very well located - just an 8 minute walk from Herne Hill Station (Zone 2), trains take only 9 mins into Victoria or 12 mins into the City (Blackfriars) and from Denmark Hill station its just 16 mins to Canary Wharf. Numerous buses run from Herne Hill into the West End and City. Also, it’s just a 15min walk to Kings College Hospital.
The surrounding area has a lovely ‘village feel’ and is located between Dulwich, Brixton and Camberwell and its safe and quiet. Within a few minutes walk of the house there’s a great selection of bars, restaurants and shops. We’re also just a very quick walk away from Brockwell Park with its Lido and Gym, beautiful Dulwich Village and the popular and vibrant Brixton Village.
THE ROOM:
Very bright and a good size bedroom, furnished with a double bed, desk, wardrobe, chest of drawers and a bedside table.
The room is at the back of the house and has views over the garden which means it is really quiet. There is a spacious dining/living room and separate kitchen.
All utilities, C Tax and EE total wi-fi are included. Non smokers only please.
