Hi! I’m looking for a friendly lodger to join my home 😊
I live here with my two young children and our small dog. We’re usually out during the day until around 5pm, and otherwise enjoy a homely environment.
The available bedroom is on the smaller side (it’s an old cottage), located at the back of the house with lovely morning sunlight. It can be partly furnished if needed.
We have a kitchen with dining area with great storage. Everything is furnished and I am happy for you to use all my equipment.
There’s one durable carpet throughout the house. At the front, there’s a small garden with garden seating to catch the sun and a line for drying clothes. We also have a small back garden.
We have WiFi, although phone signal on the street is limited.
The neighbours are wonderful and always helpful. There’s a pub within walking distance, and Ware town is about a 7-minute drive, 20 minutes by bike (via a quieter back road), or around an hour’s walk. There’s also a nearby bus stop (services are limited and none on Sundays), and taxis/Uber are reasonably priced.
I’m happy to include bills in the rent, or we can agree a split if you prefer.
I’m looking for someone respectful, tidy, and easygoing who is happy sharing a home with a young family. We’d love to meet you, feel free to get in touch 😊
