ABOUT ME:
I’m from this neighbourhood, have gone to university locally, and don’t live far from my parents. My day job is civil engineering. I'm a bit of a workaholic, but I also like to stay active/outdoors in my spare time, and to occasionally go out with friends or to have them over for a meal/watch Netflix. We are not rowdy people & I don’t drink much. Apart from the occasional gathering, I generally enjoy the quietness of the place.

I’m physically active (running, tennis, HIIT, skiing, martial arts) & also like trying new things. I occasionally enjoy indoor activities like board & card games as well.

ABOUT YOU:
So far I’ve had two flatmates living with me. I get along with my current flatmate very well (I can even provide a reference), but my previous one much worse. Compatibility and a healthy amount of openness are important.

I expect anyone moving in to be tidy, considerate, straightforward to deal with, and to use household appliances appropriately (example: ironing using an ironing board, not furniture surfaces). I don't expect to have to teach people basic living standards.

Your personal life is of course your business, but I expect to know who is in my apartment at any time. If you have a partner, or find a stable relationship during your stay, we can discuss them occasionally staying over. If your lifestyle consists frequent of casual hookups etc., then you will find other rentals and landlords more accommodating. I am not ok with you having people over for instance whose name you don’t even know. Similar goes for any drug use (by yourself or any guests which you are responsible for).

FURTHER INFORMATION:
My current flatmate is moving out around mid-March, and I’d also like to have the place to myself for a month or two – but my schedule is flexible, and depends more upon finding the right person.

I work from home about 50% the time, often in the living room. I don’t mind if you also would like to work from home, but will need to understand what that will likely look like. There is also a Ring Pro doorbell bell camera mounted at the front door, in case that has bearing on your decision.
