Sadly I’m moving back to Australia, so I’m looking for someone to take over my cosy double room in a lovely 6-bed shared house in N7, between Holloway Road and Finsbury Park.

THE ROOM
The room has a double glazed window, closet, drawers and newly replaced mattress with space for a desk

RENT & BILLS
The listed rent covers most bills excl. water with the odd top up required in winter. The new tenant will need to sign onto the lease on 18 August, as my visa ends that day and the deposit I believe is £1260.

THE HOUSE
The house has six bedrooms over four floors. There are three bathrooms, and you'll be sharing two of those with four housemates.

One of the bathrooms has a shower and toilet, and the other has a bathtub-shower and toilet, with plenty of shelving to share between both. The ground floor has a shared kitchen which opens up into a dinning room and garden. The kitchen is fully-furnished including an induction hob, microwave, oven, thermomix, rice cooker, two fridge-freezers, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. You'll get your own storage space in one of the fridges, as well as a large cupboard. We share some kitchen basics like spices, olive oil etc. The garden is huge with a BBQ and space to store bikes.

LOCATION
The house is located in a super quiet street near Holloway Road, so you get the best of both worlds! We're also right next to large supermarkets, as well as tons of local food shops. Market stalls pop up several times a week too, offering really cheap fruits and vegetables. For some greenery, Finsbury Park, Highbury Fields, and the Parkland Walk are all really close-by and super nice to walk to on a sunny day.

8-10-minute walk to three tube stops: Holloway Road, Arsenal, Finsbury Park (Picadilly and Victoria lines)
4 min walk to lots of bus stations.
5 min walk to Lidl/Morrisons/Waitrose
Great local market, and some proper favourite pubs and cafés (The Swimmer, Brocoli, Jolene etc.).

ATMOSPHERE
You'd be sharing with 5 friendly housemates, a mix of young professionals and PhD students (27–31) from all around (Italian, Belgian, American & French). We also have a cute medium-sized doggo who loves being pat. He only lives in the ground floor and is looked after by his owner. We’re also very LGBTQI+ friendly 🌈

Due to being a very international house there’s often always a couple of us abroad, which means the place never feels crowded, but there’s also usually someone around to collect a parcel/chat to when you need. It’s a nice balance of hanging out together but also giving each other space when needed. We love getting together for a house dinner from time to time (big BBQ fans this summer) and ideally looking for someone who wants to be part of a friendly social home, rather than just share a house.
