My lovely housemate is sadly moving out, so I’m looking for a fantastic short-term flattie to take over the second bedroom in my gorgeous 2-bed, 1-bath flat.

The flat is big, spacious and airy, with high ceilings, a huge kitchen, and a large living room that’s great for hanging out or decompressing after work. We’ve got all the essentials covered too - washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, etc. It’s a very clean, calm and easy-going home.

Bills not included but usually come to c. £240
- includes a brilliant cleaner twice a month!

Transport-wise, it’s a great spot - around 10 minutes via bus to Finsbury Park, with the bus stop just a 4-minute walk from the front door (or an even quicker Lime bike stint). Harringay and Hornsey stations are also about a 15-minute walk away.

There’s also a 91 bus stop about 4 minutes away in the opposite direction, which takes you straight into central London via King’s Cross, St Pancras, Euston, Russell Square, Aldwych, Charing Cross and Trafalgar Square.

The room itself is a bright, furnished double with lots of natural light and a relaxing feel. It comes with a comfy double bed and wardrobe. The chest of drawers in the photos won’t be staying, but there is a small desk and practical work chair that can go in the room if you need a decent WFH setup for a couple of days a week. The setup is ideal for a day or two each week, though the flat probably wouldn't be the best fit for someone working remotely full-time.

This is a rolling lodger contract with an ideal 6 month minimum, though I’d also be happy to chat about shorter lets.

You’d be living with me - a down-to-earth Aussie working in the not-for-profit sector. I’m into music, films, dancing, baseball, kayaking, travelling, and the occasional pint. I’m out and about a fair bit, but I really value coming home to a calm, friendly, easy-going space.

You’d also be sharing with my quirky but very lovable black-and-white cat, so being cat-friendly is a must.

I’m looking for someone mature, clean, social-but-chill - ideally a professional (30–49) who works in the office a few days a week. I’m pescatarian, so someone who’s not cooking meat constantly would be ideal (flexitarians very welcome). Sadly no couples or additional pets.

If this sounds like your kind of setup, send me a message and tell me a bit about yourself - especially how you feel about the sort of home vibe I’ve described. Viewings will be happening over the next couple of weeks and I’m looking forward to meeting the right person.
