Hey!
We are Louise and Jenny. We're currently looking for a friendly, easy going and clean new flatmate to come join us in our spacious, bright and cosy Crouch End flat. We met via spareroom over 4 years ago and have become close friends since.
Louise is 30 and is a Speech and Language Therapist in the NHS and Jenny is 35 and works for a charity.
We are friendly, chilled and sociable and enjoy running, cooking together, yoga, reading and having cosy nights in with a good TV series or film. We do a weekly clean together to keep the flat nice and homely. We're looking for someone who shares similar interests and would like to move into a home where we enjoy spending time together whilst also enjoying our own lives.
We are ideally looking for someone who doesn't work from home full time as the bedroom doesn't have much floor space for a desk, however there is space in the kitchen to work if it's hybrid.
The flat:
- The flat is set over 4 floors, with each room on a different floor so it feels super spacious and never crowded.
- There are two bathrooms in the flat, which means you will be sharing the larger bathroom with one other.
- The living area is bright and airy and fully furnished as seen in the pics.
- The kitchen is large and spacious with lots of storage so you will have your own large cupboard for your food. The kitchen also has a dishwasher, which makes life so much easier!
- The bedroom is unfurnished and fits a double bed. The pics show two different ways it can be laid out.
- Street parking is optional, you will just need to get a permit from the council.
- We have the front garden of the house to ourselves and often sit out there in the summer as it's a lovely little suntrap! ☀️
On average bills cost around £120-£150 monthly each (which includes council tax and internet).
The area: The flat is a 7 minute walk to Crouch End high street which is full of lots of independent cafes, bakeries, restaurants and pubs. Despite being so close to the high street, our street is nice and quiet so it's a great mix of the two.
Transport links: The flat is a 10 minute bus/25 min walk from Finsbury park station which has the Victoria line (10 mins to Oxford Circus), Piccadilly line (12 minutes to Covent Garden) and the National Rail (5 mins to St Pancras). The flat also a 12 minute walk to Hornsey station.
