A super large furnished bedroom has become available in a spacious detached house set in a large garden. It is located on the edge of a quiet Cambridgeshire village near Huntingdon and close to the A1/A14 junction.

The available bedroom has a superking bed, extensive fitted wardrobe and drawer space and dual aspect windows looking out over the back and side gardens. This room shares a Jack n Jill bathroom with the room of a female housemate. This bathroom has a bath, toilet and basin and a separate shower cabinet.

These two rooms are accessed by their own staircase. On the landing of this staircase, there is a convenient breakfast area consisting of a fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave.

In the downstairs of the house and for shared use, there is a well-equipped modern kitchen/diner and a laundry room with two washing machines. There are two living rooms which can be used with mutual discussion. There is a downstairs cloakroom and off-street parking and a large garden with a patio area to relax in. Wi-Fi is available and Broadband speed is in the region of 65Mbps download. You have access to a fridge, a freezer, and washing machine with each appliance being shared with only one other housemate.

A well-behaved cat lives in the communal parts of the house, but does not have access to the half of the house where the room is.

The house is near a village with a pub serving good food. Also within walking distance is the next village which has a licensed social club, another pub, a shop with a post office and pharmacy and a doctor’s surgery. Given the lack of regular public transport, a vehicle is essential to live here.

We are a friendly bunch, but busy with our own professions, interests and activities: this home would suit an independent character.
