My amazing lodger of two years is moving away for a new job, so my dog and I are looking for someone new to share our home – a spacious detached Victorian house overlooking the village green in Brampton.
The Room & House
• Furnished double bedroom with double bed, chest of drawers, bedside table and hanging rail.
• Desk and chair suitable for home working.
• Use of a shower room and separate downstairs toilet (I have my own bathroom).
• Exclusive use of a large lounge with TV and PlayStation. Very occasionally, if family or visitors stay over, the room may need to be shared as it contains a sofa bed, but this is usually only a few times a year. (I have my own lounge.)
• Large, light and airy shared kitchen-diner.
• Spacious garden with outdoor seating areas.
• Secure garage for bike storage.
• Off-road parking.

About Me
I'm a young-at-heart, easy-going female professional who works a hybrid pattern, spending some days working from home. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, cooking, and anything related to arts, music and culture.
I also share my home with a friendly pug who is very much part of the household. She loves people, so you'll need to be comfortable around dogs and happy to receive plenty of canine attention!
I occasionally travel for work, and my current lodger has sometimes helped with dog care while I'm away. It would be wonderful to find someone who would be happy to do the same from time to time, which is reflected in the reasonable rent and generous living space on offer.
I'm open to all ages and genders. What's most important to me is finding someone trustworthy, respectful, considerate and easy-going – someone who will enjoy sharing a home rather than simply renting a room.
About Brampton
Brampton is a lovely village with excellent amenities including shops, pubs, restaurants, a butcher, garden centre and fish and chip shop. The beautiful Hinchingbrooke Country Park is within walking distance.
The house is ideally located for commuting:
• 7 minutes from Huntingdon railway station and Hinchingbrooke Hospital.
• Easy access to the A1, A14 and M11.
• Regular bus services to Cambridge.
