An intelligent, educated and ‘with it’ older gentleman with reduced mobility is seeking a Sharer for his home to offer a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

He would value the friendly reassurance and company of having someone around his home in the evenings and overnight. He would also like some general practical help around the home such as picking shopping, cooking a few meals, light cleaning and tidying, carrying heavier items, reaching for things in higher/lower places, changing light bulbs, taking out bins and ad hoc practical help and errands as may be needed.

The accommodation on offer is a furnished double bedroom with double or large single bed, own shower room, and shared use of the kitchen, sitting room and garden.

The property is in an excellent location in the heart of the village of Kimbolton, with a local Budgens just round the corner and a few other little shops, pharmacy, pubc etc literally on the doorstep. There is on street parking. A car owner/driver is essential due to location.

The gentleman enjoys reading The Times, listening to Radio 4 and Classic FM, watching the news, documentaries, travel programmes and some series, and watching rugby and football. He enjoys meals such as steak, sausages, fish pie, chili con carne.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the gentleman’s interests.
