Beautiful Double Room in a Private Gated Mews – Kensal Rise (Available End of March)

We’re looking for a lovely new housemate to join our calm, well-kept home in a private gated mews in Kensal Rise. It’s a peaceful, friendly place to live, with great neighbours and a real sense of community. Quiet, safe, and a bit special.

The Room
The available room is a spacious and elegant double bedroom with skylight windows, which give it a really nice balance of natural light while still feeling cosy. You’ll be sharing a bathroom with just one other bedroom on the same floor.

The House
The house itself is clean, modern, and comfortable, very relaxed, but looked after to a high standard. We have a professional cleaner every two weeks, which helps keep everything feeling fresh and easy. It’s fully set up as a proper home: great heating, hoover, cleaning equipment, and all kitchen essentials (cutlery, cookware, appliances, etc.). You won’t need to buy anything unless you want to bring your own. We also buy household and cleaning products communally in bulk, which keeps things simple and shared.

The living space is designed for comfort too. There’s a large TV in the lounge with Sky and all streaming apps, plus speaker systems you can connect to for music, whether you’re chilling out or having people over.

Outside, we have a private patio downstairs with seating and a firepit, plus access to the front seating area and the mews itself. It’s perfect for morning coffee, some fresh air, or just stepping outside for a bit. Private parking is also available in the mews if you have a car.

A bit about us

It’s my brother and I living here, both laid-back, friendly, and working from home. We’re looking for someone who’s clean, reliable, emotionally mature, open-minded, and generally chilled. Ideally female, but we’re open to the right person. We’re early 30s and would love someone in a similar age range or lifestyle. This isn’t a party house, we prefer a calm, respectful atmosphere and peaceful evenings. That said, it’s very much a home, not a sterile space. You’re welcome to have your partner or friends over; we just value balance and consideration.
We’re hoping to find someone who feels like a natural addition to the household, someone who fits the energy of the space and, ideally, becomes a friend over time rather than just a tenant.

We also have two very sweet house cats, so you’ll need to be comfortable around animals (they won’t go into your room).

The wider mews community is honestly one of the best parts, diverse, friendly, and supportive. People look out for each other, and it gives the whole place a really nice sense of belonging.
We have private parking, one permanent space and one space for guests.
