We are a welcoming, friendly, kind and fun family in our lovely bright and colourful home. We like books, music, arts & culture, nature, and a bit of cricket.
The single room is bright, clean, comfortable, fully furnished and available for up to five nights per week (we are flexible). The room has a new bed, new mattress, great wardrobe, a rug, a large window overlooking our little London garden and its increasing number of flowers, a bedside table with drawers, a bedside lamp, additional overheard lighting, a notice board, a full-length mirror, a few piccies on the walls, a couple of bookshelves and added underbed storage space.
It sits at the end of our first floor corridor so it is private away from our bedrooms.
We share the bathroom but we have never had a problem with this. We keep it clean and tidy. It has a stand alone shower, a bath, a sink, a loo; with additional separate downstairs loo too.
As a family, we are up early every day for school and work; and fairly quiet at night. We respect your privacy and independence, but also welcome chats and shared use of our kitchen and double reception room with high ceilings if you like. We want you to feel relaxed in our home. Our family includes one thirteen year old boy and a twenty-one year old cat (she's looking great on it!). We are all easy-going.
We have fantastic neighbours and are surrounded by a vibrant community. The street is quiet, especially at night, yet all amenities are available at the top of the road - a three minute walk away. Cafes, restaurants, several bakeries, florists, supermarkets, a library. There is a park on our road and many others nearby, as well as the river Thames.
Access to central London is easy. We live equidistant between several tube stations which include Central Line, District Line, Hammersmith & City Line, Piccadilly Line... and there are frequent buses from the top of our road too.
I usually do Soho door-to-door in 35mins.
Increasingly, I work more and more from home so this isn't suitable for anyone who works from home. That said, I have at least one day a week in central London and would be happy for you to work from home sometimes that day if it suits you.
