Flat description

Tenancy takeover for a room in a 2-bed flat in Brixton. With modern facilities, this flat is split over two floors. The top floor is an airy living room with skylights, sofas, a TV, and a dining table. The flat has lovely big windows, with bedrooms, one bathroom, and kitchen all on the floor below. The bedroom is well-lit and cosy with a built-in wardrobe, a bedside table, and a chest of drawers. There’s no outside space but there is a cute little rooftop in the shared part of the building that fits a couple of people

Amazing location, only a 3min walk to Brixton tube station, or a 10min walk to Stockwell tube station. Total rent including bills is £1,300, £1,125 without; this also includes a bit extra to cover heating over winter and some left over for housey bits. The flat is available for early June, but drop me a message if your dates are slightly variable and we shall see what we can do :)

Flat vibes

This flat is a home, not just a place to live! It is a creative, open and friendly space and I am looking to live with someone I can build a happy home and a friendship with, whilst respecting each other’s space and boundaries. The landlord allows us to paint the flat and put up art on the walls, so it is very well suited to anyone who wants an expressive space. I am clean and mostly tidy but as with any home, I understand that things cannot be perfect all the time

I am 26 and work in charity fundraising so I work from home around 3 days a week. I love hosting friends for dinners and try to host a roast most Sundays (you and your friends would be more than welcome to join!), but love a chill evening in - especially early week.

Whilst I love to host and have people round, the flat is not a party flat - better suited to cosy evenings, dinner parties, catch ups, arty evenings in, and putting the world to rights over a bottle of wine. I am also out and about a lot seeing friends in the evenings, and with just 2 of us there, we will often have downtime alone in the flat. I have my car in London so we can do weekly shops together and/or drive to brockwell (5 mins!) for a little walk. I am always game for a pub trip, hike, or anything crafty

I love meeting new people and in my free time organise a monthly event for people to make new friends in London, and you are welcome to bring your friends along and get involved! It really matters to me to live in a home with open communication where everyone feels respected, safe and happy. The flat is open to women and is LGBT+, neurodivergent, creative, and 420 friendly, due to the number of stairs it is unfortunately not easily accessible for those with some disabilities
