I have a large double bedroom available to a single person (no couples pls). The room is in an organised, peaceful, very quiet shared house, and I am searching for a like-minded person to join us. A quiet, clean, and considerate person with no overnight guests pls.
The room is a fully furnished sunny and warm master bedroom (the largest room in ordinary 3-bedroom houses) located in the first floor, plus having a microvaew, mini fridge, toaster and kettle for your exclusive use inside the room. The rent covers all the bills, taxes, and fast speed broadband.
This room shares the bathroom with one other room. The third room which is a box/single room is empty and might occasionaly be used by some guests during the week, but its not going for rent. So, literally you are sharing the bathroom with one more, very clean and considerate (I would say a sensitive) person. There is another shower room and tiolet in the ground floor, and the third bathroom is on the garden annex. Therefore, there is no traffice regarding using the bathroom at all.
There is a shared kitchen available for normal use. There is also a nice conservatory with view toward the colorful back garden to be enjoyed as dining/living room (there is no separate living room).
Have had especially several students from the Oxford School of Drama, a few scientists working in the science parks around Kidlington, among others, happily living in this room.
This is obviously an affordable place, with a very friendly landlady and considerate/peaceful current lodgers, however, it is only available to a right person who considers this place as a ‘home’.
. Please if you want to stay for a short time to search and find out your long term accommodation, to quickly buddy up with your classmates, to stay home and the UC pays your rent, or have a loud lifestyle, do NOT apply as this is not a place for you. The minimum tenancy term is around 5-6 months.
