Three large double rooms available in a spacious and characterful four-bedroom period mansion flat on Winchester Avenue, in the heart of Queen’s Park/Brondesbury Park.
The flat is unusually large for London at approximately 1,380 sq ft, with high ceilings, original fireplaces, large windows and wooden floors. There is also a fantastic separate reception/living room, so this is very much a home rather than a flat where the living room has been converted into an additional bedroom.
The flat has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a separate kitchen and a large reception room. The three available bedrooms are all genuine doubles and are being advertised separately, with rent varying according to size.
It’s a beautiful period property with lots of character. It’s comfortable and lived-in rather than a newly refurbished or sterile rental, and I’d love to find people who will enjoy it as a home.
Location is one of the best things about the flat. We’re just off Salusbury Road, with Queen’s Park’s cafés, restaurants, pubs, shops, gyms, yoga studios and weekend farmers’ market all nearby. Queen’s Park itself is around a 5-minute walk away.
Brondesbury Park Overground station is practically on the doorstep, while Queen’s Park station (Bakerloo line & Overground) is less than a 10-minute walk away, making it very easy to get into central London.
About the household
I’m 35 and have lived in the flat for around 7 years and have been very happy here. I’m friendly and enjoy a chat, but home for me is very much somewhere peaceful to come back to and relax. I work in retail, so I’m generally out during the day rather than working from home.
I’m looking for similarly considerate, independent flatmates who value a quiet and calm home. This isn’t a party house or a highly social house-share, although occasional guests are absolutely fine. Being respectful of noise, particularly in the evenings and at night, is important as sound travels easily between rooms.
I also have two Bengal cats, so you’ll need to be comfortable living with cats.
Bills are approximately £200 per month, including £46 per room for council tax.
