Hi there,
My previous flatmate is moving in with her boyfriend, leaving a room available in this two-bed Queen’s Park flat. I’m James, a Kiwi – quiet and respectful but enjoy a drink or a movie night.
The flat is on Brondesbury Road, right between Kilburn and Queen’s Park, at the top of a converted terraced house. It’s warm in winter and got a nice breeze on those hot days earlier this year. It has a combined lounge and kitchen, and comes unfurnished – you can keep the bedframe that’s pictured, or we can get rid of it, no worries. Sadly no dishwasher, but the washing machine does double as a dryer.
The room has a built-in wardrobe (though half of one cupboard does have the boiler in it), and there’s decent storage throughout the flat.
I’m looking for a working professional to replace my previous flatmate on the lease, someone who’s also fairly quiet, friendly, and respectful but is also looking for a home.
Bills are £144/each a month, plus £116.50/each for council tax (Band D).
Walking to Queen’s Park station for Bakerloo and Lioness lines is about 8-9 minutes away, Brondesbury Park for the Mildmay line is 15 minutes, Kilburn station for Jubilee is 20 minutes by walking.
I’m a 36yo Kiwi professional working in Soho 3 days a week, WFH Mon/Fri. I like board games, films, DnD, going to the gym, shows, out of London for walks, etc. and have rave reviews from previous flatmates.
I've listed a preference for female flatmates as I've mostly lived with female flatmates for most of the last decade across multiple flats, and I find our living sensibilities tend to be a closer match than with male flatmates I've previously had.
Please drop me a line if this sounds like the place for you, with a bit about yourself and why this could be the ideal home for you!
Also - the cat in the lounge pictures will also be moving out soon to join his owner, my previous flatmate!
