Hi,

I’ve lived in Camberwell for 14 years and completed a renovation of my Victorian end-of-terrace home in 2022. The house is architect-designed by us and has a warm, light, modern feel, with lots of timber throughout. I have a spacious double bedroom with an adjoining study available and am looking for someone happy to live around the hubbub of family life.

The bedroom is on the top floor, catching lovely evening light, with ample space and a king-size bed; the adjoining study area has a desk, chair and metal storage lockers. There’s a shower room with WC next door, shared with one other lodger only. Being on the top floor means it’s fairly separate from the rest of the house and has a private feel.

There’s a fully equipped kitchen, utility room with washing machine, good internet and an occasional cleaner. All bills are included.

As a family home, evenings tend to be on the quiet side, weekdays are quite predictable and weekends are a little more ad hoc. It would suit someone happy to live around us who likes getting out and about.

We love Camberwell and all that it has to offer. The house is within easy walking distance of King’s College Hospital (KCH), University of the Arts London (UAL) and Denmark Hill station (direct services to Victoria and connections on the Windrush line). Ruskin Park, Camberwell Church Street and Bellenden Road are all close by.

The room is available from April for £1200 per month, all bills included. Our agreement will be a Licence to Occupy for single occupancy, we may request references, all in-person viewings will be arranged for Saturday afternoons.

Ideally lodgers would stay for a minimum of 6 months, I will consider short lets for periods of 3-5 months at £1500 per month.
