Hello!
I’m giving up my lovely bedroom in Brixton, and we’re looking for a female professional to take it over. I’ve lived in the flat for 8 years and have been really happy here, but it feels like the right time for me to explore a different part of London.
The room is in a shared 3-bedroom maisonette and will be available from 1st November.
The flat is on the fourth floor of an apartment building with a lift and a regularly maintained communal garden. It’s in a great location, around a 10-minute walk from both Brixton Station and Brockwell Park, with a bus stop just outside the building and frequent buses into central London and around the area.
There’s a shared living room with a sofa, TV and dining table, a small but practical kitchen and a bathroom. Unfortunately, the flat isn’t suitable for couples or pets.
The room comes with a double bed, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers (currently hidden inside the wardrobe) and a small mirror.
You’ll be sharing with two girls, Claudia and Rachel, who are in their 30s and 40s. They’re both professionals and are friendly, considerate and easy to live with. Claudia works as a Collection Manager in the cultural/museum sector, and Rachel is a Data Scientist within the public sector.
The flat has a relaxed, homely feel - everyone has their own life and space, but there’s also the occasional evening spent having a chat, watching a film/TV or sharing a meal together.
We’d love to find someone with a fairly regular work routine and their own life and interests outside the flat, but who also enjoys the occasional social/chilled evening at home with a film or a meal. We’re also looking for someone who is clean and tidy and happy to do their bit to keep the flat comfortable and pleasant for everyone.
Rent is £750/month. Bills are approximately £150/month each (a little less in the summer) and include council tax, internet, TV licence, water, gas and electricity.
Please note that the £865 deposit shown above isn’t correct. The deposit is currently £1,000.
There are no agents involved, and the landlady is lovely. She’s always helpful and responsive if anything needs changing or repairing.
I’m very happy to answer any questions, so feel free to get in touch and tell us a little bit about yourself too.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Thanks,
Nazie
