Kennington lies on the edge of central London and zone 1 with excellent transport links: 5 minutes’ walk to both Kennington and Elephant and Castle tube stations. 15 mins to both Vauxhall and Waterloo and 10 minutes to Lambeth North. In addition, the lively cultural South Bank riverside is approximately a 20 minute walk away, including Tate Modern, theatres and major London attractions. Walking into town such as Covent Garden is a very manageable 35-40 minute walk or simply 10 minute bus ride away. Kennington itself, referred to as 'London's best kept secret' by estate agents, is an attractive area with a great central hub of good restaurants, cafes, bars and essential shops. The area also has a well-used park and boasts the Oval Cricket ground.

All in all a wonderful location for someone wishing to be near the action and heart of the city but with easy access links to the whole of London.

We are a creative and relaxed couple and live in the home we are sharing and live with another friendly lodger.

We have been renting our rooms for a number of years and currently have a room available to rent.

The room is available to move in from Saturday 21st February 2026. It is offered with a minimum stay of 6 months, or for a longer term as agreed.

Rent is £850 per calendar month, paid in advance and bills are included. We also require a £500 one-month deposit.
