Hello! My name is Christian. I’m into the outdoors, am easy to get on with and in possession of a good sense of humor. The apartment is between town and the university and I live in the upper room (there are two levels to the apartment, one of which is a mezzanine). I can't have dogs but would be happy to consider potential tenants who have house cats that don't mind being two stories up.
The building itself is pretty old and features some serious wooden beams across the ceiling, with stone arch windows.
I have fish in the lounge, but they are very well-behaved. The tanks should be secure enough if you’re a cat-owner.
If you fancy lodging with me, you’d have the “downstairs” room, I say downstairs, but the whole apartment is one story above street level. The room itself is massive. Both the space and the bed would normally accommodate two people, but the kitchen and bathroom just wouldn’t manage three, so I’ve listed it as a large single room. Sorry, but no couples!
By the way, the kitchen and the bathroom have just been refurbished so there's nice new facilities!
There’s also has a walk-in wardrobe, so you could use it to store fancy dress costumes, a rocking horse... or just lots of clothes.
The desk in the photo is included, as is the double-bed too. There’s an orthopaedic mattress on it which is very comfortable. The rent includes all bills, such as WiFi and council tax.
The only additional cost is the deposit, and a TV license if you want to view things on the BBC. There is a washing machine, and a bus top across the road which is really handy for the university.
It’s also possible to bike or walk to campus which is about two miles away.
Please note there is no en-suite, but the room to rent is near the bathroom. Which, as mentioned earlier, is brand new.
Once again, the room is big. I’ve tried to capture it’s full dimensions in the photographs and not done it justice, so you’ll just have to come and see for yourself.
