I am moving out of my lovely flat in Meanwood and looking for a professional seeking a short-term let to fill my room. I own the property and plan to put it on the market to sell in March 2026, so I am looking for a tenant seeking a rolling contract with a likely duration of 6 months.

I share my home with a lovely flatmate (26yo, female) who is an illustrator and artist and works from home. We share the kitchen, living/dining room and bathroom. We enjoy occasionally cooking or baking together and watching films.

The flat is fully furnished, has a small patio area with planting space, and has a private off-street parking space that you would be allocated (house mate doesn’t have a car).

The flat complex is quiet and friendly. Neighbours are mostly young couples and small families. 2 minute walk to Sugarwell Hill woodland area where you can walk down through the woods to Meanwood Farm (lovely!), and 15 min walk to Meanwood high street (including Aldi, Waitrose, cafes and bars) and 20 minute walk to Chapel Allerton high street (more of the same).

Rent is £475pcm including utilities (electric, water, internet) but excluding council tax. Council tax Band B which currently comes to approx £70pcm per person. Deposit is one month’s rent (£475) Contract length is negotiable: monthly rolling or three months minimum with rolling afterwards. I will be putting the flat on the market to sell in March 2026 so i am looking for someone willing to accommodate estate agent viewings from then onwards.
