I’m a 42-year-old single gay male looking to rent out one of my spare rooms from 1st June, initially on a 6-month contract with the option to extend if we get on well.
The house is a 10–15 minute walk to the city centre and De Montfort Uni, and around 25 minutes to the LRI, rugby, and football grounds.
The room comes with a comfy double bed, a shelved cupboard, and a clothes rail, and you’ll have access to the rest of the house as your own. The home has a cosy living room, dining room with a 6-seater table, and fibre broadband.
I have a 6-year-old dog called Nelson, so you’d need to be an animal lover -there will be times when you’re in the house with him alone.
Ideally, I’m looking for someone LGBT+, tidy, in a stable job.
I’m also a smoker, so this works best if you’re comfortable with that.
I’m open to a slightly lower rent for someone who only needs the room Monday–Friday.
