A: Every applicant has to go through a reference check before moving in. It should take no more than 3 days.
Q: How much discount can I get?
A: It depends on your occupation and salary.
Q: Can I have an overnight guest?
A: Once a week. For additional nights, you would need to notify us and obtain our permission. The council do not allow more than one person in this room for long-term occupancy.
Q: The rooms are big enough for two double beds. Can I make it a twin room?
A: Not under any circumstances.
Q: Is the boiler working?
A: An annually serviced boiler in the house. Hot water is available 24/7.
Q: Do you accept children?
A: No.
Q: Is it vegetarian friendly?
A: There are two fridges. One is for vegetables only, and you can have separate cooking utensils. The en suite double room comes with its own fridge.
Q: What is the room availability?
A: Available from Sep 2026. If you want to move earlier, it can be negotiated with the existing tenant.
Q: Can I view it virtually?
A: No, you cannot. We do not do video viewings. You have to come and meet the existing housemates (and cat). It is a two-way street. You will be living with them. You have to see if you can live with them. The housemates want to meet you too. We value their opinion. We can wait for the right person.
