The property: Double room and large private sitting room in a spacious characterful cottage, with shared bathroom and kitchen. Nice little patio round the front with a small lawn and a huge back garden and outdoor dining area that i'm just beginning to get to grips with.

The location: The cottage is set on 400+ acres of organic farmland where quad bikes, cows and tractors are a frequent presence. If having mud on your car in winter will stress you out, then this may not be for you. I think that having a car is essential here- we are not within walking distance of local amenities.

The people: I am a 35 year old trainee counsellor and I live here with my 3 year old son. Friends would describe me as warm, grounded, non-judgemental and relaxed.

I'm looking for a lodger who is in work of some kind, who is straightforward, emotionally stable and can take care of their space. I hope to build a friendly and warm relationship with whoever lives here, while respecting their personal space and routines.

Bills not included in the rent are council tax, electricity and wifi (if required). We have off grid water and heating so electiricity is generally much lower than an average household.

Plymouth is about 25- 30 mins commute.
The market town of Liskeard is within 4 miles, providing a mainline railway station with direct links to Plymouth, London, and beyond and a main coach stop. Everyday town centre facilities include a retail park, supermarkets, leisure centre and community hospital. The A38 dual carriageway is easily accessible with direct access to Plymouth, Devon, and westbound further into Cornwall.
