I am a PhD student at the University of Liverpool. My flatmate is moving in with his girlfriend and so I am looking to find a new flatmate.

The flat is on the 4th floor and right next to the university so is pretty ideal for a student. It stays quite warm in winter and reasonably cool in summer. If you are a student, you can't really beat the location. The balcony is also very nice.
My girlfriend lives in London so I usually stay with her for at least 1 week per month (in total). I also mostly work from my office (although sometimes work from home), so the living room would be yours to claim if you wanted to work from home (the living room is my flatmate's domain at the moment).
Tenancy agreement / bill details:
My flatmate and I moved in in April 2025. The letting agency say they only do single tenancy agreements and since I do not know a valid guarantor, you would likely take over my flatmate's sole tenancy.
There will probably also be a bit of back and forth between us and the letting agency. I believe there may be a fee to switch tenancies, however, our current agreement ends on the 27th of September, so we can likely draw up another agreement with the letting agency, or something like this.
- The flat is electric only, no gas. The electric bill was about £70pm each (so £140pm in total) in the winter and now is about half of that (£35pm each / £70pm total).
- Wi-fi is currently £18pm each (£36pm in total). I
- am unsure of the council tax band as I'm a student.
- Building parking spaces also cost something like £70pm I believe (although I would need to double check this to get an exact number.)
