Hello! I’m Sarah, the homeowner. I live up on the top floor, so I’m fairly self-contained, and I work from home during the day. My house is shared with two other lovely humans, two affectionate cats, and a very friendly dog. We are a mainly vegetarian household, and the vibe is relaxed, respectful, and warm.
The Room
While it is the smallest bedroom in the house, it is still a proper double-sized room. It currently features an Ikea HEMNES daybed with three large storage drawers underneath (which pulls out into a double when needed), a large chest of drawers, and a clothes rail, which can be replaced by a wardrobe if you prefer. The room is currently in need of redecoration, which is fully reflected in the competitive price. You would be sharing the main bathroom with just one other housemate, as the other bedrooms are en-suite.
The House
It’s a late Victorian end-terrace with five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a cellar, and a brilliant, sunny yard. We have a shared kitchen, a separate dining room, and a dedicated living room with a bar and a working fireplace. You're more than welcome to hang out in any of the shared areas.
The kitchen is well-equipped: you’ll have half an under-counter fridge, half a tall freezer, and your own cupboard. The main bathroom is on the first floor and features a huge bath alongside a TV—perfect for streaming your favourite shows while having a proper soak.
The Location & Transport
We are based in the Derby Park Conservation area, close to the lovely Victorian Derby Park, with Crosby beach and the Iron Men close by.
