Double bedrooms are available to rent in a newly renovated Victorian terraced house in the seaside area of Waterloo in north Liverpool (L22). It is only a 15-minute train journey to Liverpool city centre.

The rent is £450 a month for medium sized room and £500 a month for the larger sized room. Price excludes bills which are split evenly between everyone - they are: 1) council tax Band C, 2) electricity, 3) gas, 4) broadband, and 5) TV license. Approximately £50 in the summer and up to £75 in the winter per person per month depending on usage. Single occupancy per room, a surcharge for couples and pets. Deposit is one month’s rent and landlord and employer references required.

Each bedroom has a double bed, double wardrobe, and chest of drawers. The two bathrooms are the 1st floor mezzanine and are newly renovated - both have showers (1 electric, 1 off the boiler), toilets and sinks. The kitchen on the ground floor has an electronic oven, gas hob, microwave, two fridges, an extra freezer, washing machine and lots of storage space with cutlery and crockery for everyone to use. The front living room has a kitchen table and chairs, a wide screen TV, comfy couches, a sideboard for storage, and the broadband box. Gas central heating throughout the house.

There is a small garden at the back which gets lots of sunshine and has a patio with a washing line to hang out clothes to dry or store a bicycle. Strictly no smoking or e-cigarettes/vaping inside or on the grounds of the house.

The local area is nice with the following amenities:
• Shops (e. g., Home Bargain), pubs/bars, cafes, restaurants, post office, a pharmacy (Boots), an ATM
• Waterloo (Merseyside) train station is a 2-minute walk away so you can get to Liverpool Central or Lime Street train stations in 15 minutes.
• Large Co-op supermarket and a Tesco Express (open 7am to 11pm) are a 5-minute walk away
• Community run cinema called the Plaza which shows the latest films at a very reasonable price £5.50!
• Crosby Library (with free computers, Wi-Fi, printing, books, study spaces)
• Victoria Park is a 5-minute walk
• Crosby beach is a 10-minute walk away
• Crosby Leisure Centre with a 25-metre swimming pool, gym, and exercises classes is a 15-minute walk away

It is not a party house as it is a quiet residential area with families and retired people. The rooms would suit mature working professionals or postgraduate students studying at Masters or PhD level as the house is quiet during the day and has a chilled, relaxed vibe in the evenings and weekends. Everyone that lives here is respectful, kind, and we keep the house and shared spaces reasonably clean and tidy. We can't have pets I'm afraid as some people in the house have allergies.

If you have a car, parking is residential by permit only on our street and on a first come first served basis but there is free parking on some of the other side streets a short walk away.
